India Coast Guard Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
Online Applications are invited from Male Citizens Processing Educational qualifications and age as prescribed below: –
Age Limit – Between 18-22 Years
Indian Coast Guard recruitment Qualification –
>Navik (General Duty):- 10+2 passed with Maths and Physics from an education board documented by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
>Navik (Domestic Branch): – 10th Classes passed from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
>Yantrik: – 10th Class Passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) and diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics and Telecommunication (Radio/power) engineering approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

Indian Coast Guard Navik Selection Process: -The Selection Process involves 4 stages and we will discuss step by step selection Process. It is based all over India. Clearing of Stage-1, 2, 3, and 4 and satisfactory performance in training is compulsory for recruitment in ICG.
Stage1
Stage one includes a written examination, there are different sections in the written exam for different posts. It is compulsory to pass each section. The Passing marks are given according to the Category of the Candidate. The tests are given below: –

Stage2
The student who clears CBT of stage 1 will be called for stage 2 depending on the ratio and vacancies decided as per ICG. This stage will take 1 or 2 days and the candidate will be tested for Physical fitness and Document Verification and Medical. Physical fitness includes Running 1.6 km, 20 Squat ups, and 10 push-ups these tasks are to be done continuously.
Stage3
After the accomplishment of stage1 and 2, all India merit lists will be prepared and the selected will be called for stage3 and which will include the following tasks
>Documentation
>Final Medicals at INS Chilka
>Submission of original documents
>Police Verification
Stage4
The Candidates who are selected in stage3 will be shortlisted for training at INS Chilka given that they submit all their documents for verification.
