Central Bank of India has officially announced a recruitment notification for inviting eligible and talented candidates on their official site. As per the notification issued by the Central Bank of India, a total of 115 vacancies have been released for the positions of Specialist Officer in various disciplines.

Hence, the interested candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria required for Specialist Officer positions can apply.

Central Bank of India (CBI) has invited applications from candidates who have completed a Ph.D. degree in any one of the subjects including Economics/Banking/Commerce/Public Policy/Economic Policy for recruitment of Specialist Officers in various disciplines.

To fill these vacancies, the bank will start the link of applying forms from November 23, 2021. All eligible candidates can apply from November 23, 2021.

Eligibility Criteria – CBI SO Recruitment :

Educational Qualification Details :

Economist :

Must have obtained a Degree of Ph.D. in Economics/Banking/Commerce/Economic Policy/Public Policy from any recognized University.

In addition, candidates should have at least 5 years of work experience in a Commercial bank or any other PSUs.

Income Tax Officer :

Must have cleared the final examination of the Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in the field of Direct Taxation.

Information Technology :

Must have a Bachelor‟s degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering in any discipline from any recognized University in India.

Apart from this qualification, candidates need to have a certificate of one year of work experience in the relevant field.

Age limits :

Candidate’s age should be between 20 to 45 years as of the closing date of the application form.

Age Relaxation :

The age relaxation is applicable for the SC/ST/PH categories by 5 years.

Date of commencement of online application form : 23rd November 2021

Last date for online application form : 17th December 2021

Date of download call letter by candidates : 11th January 2022

Application Fee :

The applicants who relate to the SC/ST/PH categories require to pay Rs 175 excluding GST as an application fee.

The applicants who relate to the other categories including General, OBC, and EWS require to pay Rs 850 excluding GST as an application fee. The fee will be paid in any one of the online payment gateways: Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.

Selection Process – Central Bank of India Recruitment :

The bank will hold an online test in Ahmedabad, Bhubaneshwar, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Chennai, Chandigarh, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Pune, Raipur, and Patna Centers to select eligible candidates for the position of Specialist Officer.
